Wow, what a great list you've made! I ever liked that "I can't make you love me" song past Bonnie Raitt, which I guess is more a break upwards song than a goodbye song.

FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on September 04, 2016:

Catherine - You take no thought how many times I take the wrong artist and accept to double bank check myself! (That'due south why it takes me so long to publish these.) Yous are wonderful merely as you are, lovely Catherine! Don't change a affair.

Catherine Giordano from Orlando Florida on September 04, 2016:

FlorishAnyway: Forgive my senility. Now that you lot mention it, information technology probably was Peter Paul and Mary. The airplane office probably caused me to recall Jefferson Airplane. I can't trust my memory anymore. I am glad you included information technology.

FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on September 04, 2016:

Catherine - A number of artists recorded many of these songs. Equally for that one, I listed it as #24 and credited Peter, Paul & Mary, although John Denver could have also been mentioned. It does accept a very prissy appeal, all these years later! Thank yous for sharing your trip down retention lane.

Catherine Giordano from Orlando Florida on September 04, 2016:

Another slap-up playlist. Simply you left off my favorite "I'chiliad Leaving on a Jet Plane" by the Jefferson Plane. "So kiss me and say yous love me..." It is indelible in my encephalon because I was in San Francisco in the "flower-child" heyday, packed and ready to take a jet plane back to New York Metropolis the next morning when I starting time heard that song.

FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on September 02, 2016:

teaches12345 - Thank you for stopping by. Goodbyes tin can be sad, but the alternative (not having the chance to say good day) is and so much sadder. I hope y'all have a wonderful holiday weekend, Dianna!

FlourishAnyway (writer) from USA on September 02, 2016:

Frank - I used to limit myself to 25, 35, or other round numbers only so constitute quickly that with new releases there would always be additional songs so why even start out with such a number? It'll only change every bit people make good suggestions and all. It doesn't take much on my office to go ahead and offer greater content in the form of a table either. Hope that answers information technology.

Frank Atanacio on September 02, 2016:

91 songs.. cheerio songs.. But curious Flourish.. why the odd numbers? and thanks for the trip downward memory lane..:)

teaches12345 on September 01, 2016:

I hate good-byes simply they are part of life. Some of the songs are lamentable merely others give ane a brighter promise of reunion.

FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on August 26, 2016:

Carb Diva - Thanks. I am so lamentable about the loss of your dear feline friend. I would definitely concur with you lot about the importance that pets play in our lives and the grief that their passing involves. I have half-dozen cats now, accept always had multiple cats but recently lost the one I referred to as my "Jesus Christ True cat" because he was such a chivalrous and gentle soul. His name was Shepard and he oddly had a neurological inability that mirrored my own MS. We were in the struggle together. He died, notwithstanding, of cancer of the larynx, crawling up next to me one morning to let me know information technology was finally his fourth dimension. We had him euthanized. I'm and then sorry that you lot did not have the adventure to say bye to your sweet baby. They are definitely our children. She knows that yous loved her. I hope y'all are not afraid to love over again, as at that place are then many darling cats who could use a good pet mom similar y'all. The ranked list I cite is based on psychological inquiry studies and I bet many people do consider pets as family, as you and I practice.

FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on August 26, 2016:

Linda Lum from Washington State, United states on August 25, 2016:

Flourish - Another great series. I really enjoyed this. May I add together one more to your list of 'goodbyes' (stressful life events)? The death of a family pet--or perchance that is covered under #three. Our 11-twelvemonth former kitty died two years agone from a stroke or heart attack. In an instant she was gone, and there was no time for goodbyes. I all the same anguish for her.

FlourishAnyway (writer) from United states on August 25, 2016:

Heidi - I would bet that's shortly sometime! It's funny how many different playlists yous can come with for situations. I've added your suggestion. Thank you!

FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on August 25, 2016:

Neb - That'due south ane of Garth'due south best. I'm not a fan of him coming in and out of retirement. I call up he did his all-time work the first fourth dimension around when he was all in.

FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on Baronial 25, 2016:

Susan - The vocal past Trace Adkins is and so accurate. It'southward too bad state doesn't extend much beyond the United states of america and Canada. Some of it is absolutely awesome, very catchy, often involving a story. Cheers for stopping by!

Susan Hambidge from Kent, England on August 25, 2016:

I always savour reading your 'songs for every situation' compilations. We don't hear a lot of country tracks hither in the U.k. but the Trace Adkins one is so full of emotion and truth, that one really brings a lump to my pharynx.

Heidi Thorne from Chicago Area on August 25, 2016:

And so will the next playlist exist Songs about Hello? :) Another cracking playlist! Here'due south my add together: Paul Simon'south "50 Ways to Get out Your Lover." Have a great day!
